The payoff

Why Water Polo?

It's so much more than a sport — here's what your athlete really takes home.

01

Teamwork

Six players, one heartbeat. Polo teaches kids to trust, talk, and win together.

02

Discipline

Treading water builds grit — show-up-and-grind habits that carry into the classroom.

03

New Friends

The squad becomes the friend group. Carpools, team dinners, and lifelong crews.

04

College Scholarships

Water polo opens doors. Our coaches help athletes get seen and recruited at the next level.

05

Well-Rounded

Strength, speed, smarts, and sportsmanship — the ultimate all-around athlete.

06

Confidence & Fitness

Strong body, strong mind. Kids stand taller in and out of the pool.

More than a team

From First Splash to Signing Day

Watch one Foothill kid grow up in the water — 10U all the way to committing in college. This is the #FoothillFamily pipeline.

Our story

What Is Foothill Club Water Polo?

Hear it straight from our founder — what we're about and how the #FoothillFamily got started.

Our crew

Meet The Leadership

At Foothill, every athlete is family. We use the joy of competitive water polo to help kids, teens, and young adults grow into confident, disciplined teammates — and even better people. Win or lose, we show up for each other, cheer the loudest, and make sure every kid leaves the pool prouder than they walked in. Strength of character, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart: that's the #FoothillFamily way.

Does my child need any experience?+
Not at all — and honestly, that's our specialty. Most of our athletes start as complete beginners, and our coaches are great at making first-timers feel right at home. If your kid is comfortable in the water, we'll teach them the rest.
Is there really a free trial?+
Yes, and we mean it — the first two weeks are completely free for every new athlete. Just come to a practice, say hi, and jump in. No forms, no commitment, no pressure. We'd love to meet you.
What does it cost?+
Fees run from $350 to $600 per session depending on age group — our youngest groups are the most affordable, with high school at the top. That covers coaching, pool time, and equipment for the whole session. We offer payment plans or pay-in-full, and we never want cost to be the reason a kid can't play — if money's tight, just reach out and we'll work with you.
What do session fees cover?+
It all goes right back to your athlete — coaching (1–2 coaches per practice, per team), pool rental, and team equipment. Everything we need to run a great season.
Are there game fees too?+
A little extra on game weekends, yes. Game fees are billed to your account afterward — usually around $25 a game, with about four games a weekend. We aim for two weekends a month and 10–16 games a session, so your athlete gets plenty of real game experience.
Do we need a uniform?+
Just a couple of pieces — a Foothill suit and a bit of branded gear so the team looks sharp on deck and your kid feels like part of the squad. You can grab it all anytime from our Team Store.
How are age groups decided?+
By “water polo age” — how old your athlete will be on August 1. Not sure? Pop a birthday into our Age Group Calculator just above and it'll point you to the right group.
What should we bring?+
Easy — a swimsuit, towel, water bottle, and goggles. That's all you need to get started, and we'll walk you through caps and gear once you're on a team.
Where and when are practices?+
We train at five great pools around the Inland Empire (see Our Pools just below). Each team gets its schedule at the start of every session, so you'll always know where to be.
How do we register?+
Pick your program up top — Water Polo, Summer Splashball, or Swim Team — and follow the link. Stuck or have a question? Call (909) 294-6628 or email info@foothillwaterpolo.com and a real person will help.
